Pre-course: Tick-borne diseases

In connection to the NSCMID 2025 meeting, a pre-course focused on the epidemiology, diagnostics, and clinical aspects of tick-borne diseases (TBDs) will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 27^th, and the morning of Thursday, August 28^th.

The target group for the pre-course is anyone interested to learn more about Lyme borreliosis, tick-borne encephalitis and emerging tick-borne diseases. The pre-course is organised in collaboration with the NSCMID Tick-borne Diseases Group.

The pre-course will feature a session dedicated to TBD case presentations. We encourage participants of the NSCMID 2025 meeting to submit abstracts on interesting TBD cases. Case presentations are invited on Lyme borreliosis, TBE, as well as emerging TBDs such as neoehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis, babesiosis, and others. Detailed instructions for submitting case presentation abstracts will be provided soon.
